Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Proven customer service experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and community management software
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Must be able to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Compliance with required health and safety training
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug and background checks as required
- Willingness to participate in vaccination requirements as mandated by law.
Job Qualifications
- High school degree or GED
- Proven customer service experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel) and Sunrise applications with ability to learn new software
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
- Ability to exercise good judgment, problem solving, and decision making
- Experience working in senior living or healthcare environment preferred
- Knowledge of safety and risk management practices.
Job Duties
- Oversee the community entry area for visitors, guests, and residents extend a warm welcome and greeting offer and provide beverages to visitors and guests ensure community safety protocols are in place
- Contact the Director of Sales, Executive Director, or Department Coordinator to meet prospective residents, families, or visitors and minimize wait times
- Greet potential candidates for Sunrise careers and direct them to apply online or capture their information for recruitment
- Answer incoming telephone calls and resident calls promptly with appropriate greetings and manage messages accurately
- Offer community overviews to callers, forward calls to appropriate contacts, and schedule appointments for residents and family members
- Manage Bistro area cleanliness, refreshments, music, and maintain a pleasant atmosphere
- Partner with the community team for compliance with health and safety regulations including PPE and emergency procedures
- Maintain Resident Roster, Team Member Roster, and emergency schedules and champion the Safe Leaving Program
- Perform general administrative duties including updating resident phone lists, organizing mail, processing meal tickets, ordering office supplies, and assisting in recruitment data entry
- Actively participate in team meetings, training, and engagement programs and perform other assigned duties.
