Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven customer service experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer applications
  • Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to learn and navigate new software systems
  • Compliance with Sunrise safety and health policies
  • Willingness to pass a drug test and participate in required health screenings
  • Ability to work in a team environment and attend meetings
  • Availability to perform assigned shifts and duties
  • For those who drive company vehicles, signature on driver job description and understanding of safety duties

Job Qualifications

  • High school degree or GED
  • Proven customer service experience and skills
  • Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel) and Sunrise applications
  • Ability to learn new applications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Good organizational, time management, and follow-through skills
  • Accurate record keeping abilities
  • Good judgment, problem solving, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Ability to actively participate in team engagement and training
  • Willingness to adhere to safety and risk management protocols

Job Duties

  • Oversee the community entry area for visitors, guests, and residents
  • Extend a warm welcome and greeting, offer and provide beverages to visitors and guests
  • Ensure that community safety protocols are in place
  • Contact the Director of Sales, Executive Director, or Department Coordinator to meet with prospective residents, families, or visitors
  • Greet potential candidates interested in careers and direct them to apply or capture their information in the Applicant Tracking System
  • Answer incoming telephone calls within two to three rings using the appropriate community greeting
  • Take complete messages with pertinent information and communicate messages to intended recipients
  • Offer a community overview to callers and forward calls appropriately
  • Manage appointments for residents and family members
  • Send get well and sympathy cards as needed
  • Order flowers and nameplates for new residents
  • Maintain marketing and move-in packet inventories
  • Support initial inquiry calls and assist with lead tracking databases
  • Perform administrative duties related to resident move-ins
  • Keep front desk and bistro areas clean and stocked
  • Regularly check and restock snacks, maintain the popcorn machine, and play music
  • Ensure desk coverage when away
  • Partner with team to ensure safety compliance
  • Practice all safety procedures including PPE and emergency protocols
  • Maintain resident and team member rosters for emergencies
  • Respond to emergencies and enforce sign-in/out protocols
  • Maintain a high-risk elopement list
  • Update daily resident phone lists, move-in/out registers, and logbooks
  • Prepare and process meal tickets and meal money
  • Organize and distribute mail and newspapers
  • Post daily menu
  • Maintain resident credit forms
  • Assist with recruitment data entry
  • Monitor and order office supplies
  • Track and disperse team member paychecks
  • Participate in team meetings and engagement activities
  • Commit to ongoing training and service standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned
