Job Requirements

  • High school degree or GED
  • Previous customer service experience
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer applications
  • Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing
  • Willingness to undergo drug testing and health screenings
  • Compliance with safety protocols and community standards
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team setting

Job Qualifications

  • High school degree or GED
  • Proven customer service experience and skills
  • Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office and Sunrise applications
  • Ability to learn new software applications
  • Knowledge of safety and regulatory compliance related to driving Sunrise vehicles as applicable
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities effectively

Job Duties

  • Oversee the community entry area for visitors, guests, and residents, extend a warm welcome, offer beverages, ensure community safety protocols are in place
  • Contact the Director of Sales, Executive Director, or Department Coordinator to meet prospective residents, families, or visitors and minimize wait times
  • Greet potential candidates for careers at Sunrise, direct them to apply online, or enter candidate information in the Applicant Tracking System
  • Answer incoming telephone and resident calls promptly with appropriate greeting and identification
  • Take and communicate complete messages to intended recipients
  • Provide community overview to callers, route calls appropriately, and notify the caller
  • Manage appointments for residents and family such as hairdresser or transportation
  • Send get well and sympathy cards to residents and families as needed
