Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of job-related experience preferred
- At least 2 years of face-to-face customer service, customer relations or hospitality background preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to manage stressful situations calmly
- Familiarity with infection prevention and badging processes
- Commitment to patient privacy and HIPAA compliance
- Ability to work on-site
- Weekend night availability
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of face-to-face customer service, customer relations, or hospitality experience
- At least 2 years of job-related experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-stress situations
- Knowledge of infection prevention protocols
- Experience with badging or security systems preferred
- Understanding of HIPAA and patient confidentiality
- Ability to problem-solve and multitask effectively
- Comfortable working weekend night shifts
Job Duties
- Greet visitors warmly and professionally regardless of their visit reason
- Assist visitors with badging and infection prevention screening including registering and navigating systems
- Identify and alert appropriate staff about regulatory or accreditation visitors
- Manage health screening process for employees and distribute stickers and masks
- Facilitate confidential patient visitations respecting patient privacy and HIPAA standards
- Accept or deny deliveries and ensure timely communication
- Oversee volunteers serving in ambassador roles and ensure proper training
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of screening stations
- Assist families and staff with accessing wagons and wheelchairs and manage logs
- Serve as liaison in Emergency Departments providing support and maintaining order
- Assist with patient kiosk check-in for appointments
- Facilitate vendor check-in process and resolve issues
