Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- one to three years related experience and/or training
- availability to work approximately 8 hours per week, every other weekend
- ability to operate telephone systems and office equipment
- excellent verbal communication skills
- ability to lift and move at least 50 pounds
- punctuality and minimal absence
- ability to adapt to changing tasks and customer needs
- willingness to work various schedules and shifts as needed
- physical ability to stand for long periods and work in small spaces
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- one to three years related experience and/or training
- or equivalent combination of education and experience
- able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- able to write simple correspondence
- able to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
- able to add and subtract two-digit numbers and multiply and divide with 10s and 100s
- able to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
- able to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
- able to operate telephone, emergency call system, monitoring board or beeper, photocopier
- able to communicate with others in a warm and helpful manner
- able to work cooperatively with a group to achieve goals and objectives
- able to be tactful, maintain confidences, and foster an ethical work environment
Job Duties
- Answer incoming telephone calls cheerfully and in a marketing-oriented way
- determine purpose of callers and forward calls to appropriate personnel or department
- fill out Sales Inquiry cards for Community Relations Director
- take and deliver messages or transfer calls to voice mail when appropriate personnel are unavailable
- answer general questions about the community and provide callers with address, directions, and other information
- welcome on-site visitors, determine nature of business, and announce visitors to appropriate personnel
- coordinate guestroom reservations
- receive, sort, and route mail
- maintain and route publications
- maintain copy and fax machines, assist users, send faxes, retrieve and route incoming faxes
- create and print fax cover sheets, memos, correspondence, reports, and other documents
- perform other clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and collating
- maintain database for Sales Manager by inputting data on Move N Software
- coordinate Move N door cards, packets, and update resident listings
- make sales packets and event materials for Sales Manager
- collect rent checks from residents and family members and provide information to Business Office Manager and Executive Director
- collect money for meal tickets
- perform other duties as assigned
