Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience in customer service roles
- Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office as well as ability to learn new software
- Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to maintain safety and risk management protocols
- Willingness to participate in health and safety compliance including drug testing and any required vaccinations
- Understanding of emergency procedures and safety policies
- If driving a Sunrise vehicle, willingness to comply with driver safety responsibilities

Job Duties
- Oversee the community entry area for visitors, guests, and residents, extend a warm welcome, offer and provide beverages to visitors and guests, and ensure that the community safety protocols are in place
- Contact the Director of Sales, Executive Director, or Department Coordinator to meet with prospective residents, families, or visitors ensuring minimal wait times
- Greet potential candidates interested in Sunrise careers and direct them to apply online or capture candidate information into the Applicant Tracking System
- Answer incoming telephone and resident calls promptly with the appropriate greeting, take complete messages, and communicate them to the intended recipients
- Offer an overview of the community to callers, direct the calls to the appropriate party, and notify the caller
- Manage appointments for residents and family members such as hairdresser and transportation
- Send get well cards to residents in the hospital, order Memory Flowers for residents that have passed away, and send sympathy cards to families
- Order flowers and nameplates for new residents prior to move-in and guest meals for day of move-in
- Maintain marketing and move-in packet inventory
- Support the Director of Sales with inquiry calls and Customer Relationship Management lead tracking
- Keep front desk and Bistro areas neat, clean, and stocked with refreshments
- Monitor safety protocols, maintain resident and team member rosters for emergency procedures, and respond to emergencies as per Sunrise policies
- Update resident phone lists, move-in and move-out registers, prepare meal tickets, collect meal money, distribute mail and newspapers, and maintain resident credit forms
- Assist with recruitment data entry, order office supplies, and track team member paychecks
- Participate actively in team goals, demonstrate the Team Member Credo, serve residents through the Principles of Service, engage in team member surveys and meetings, and maintain compliance with required training
