Job Requirements

  • previous experience working with the elderly preferred
  • computer proficiency in Word Excel Outlook
  • strong interpersonal organizational and time management skills
  • ability to read write and speak English
  • ability to pass a Department of Social and Health Services background check some negative actions can be acceptable
  • valid CPR First Aid certificate Chateau will pay for training if not certified

Job Duties

  • act as the first point of contact for visitors to the community greet and direct guests and family members and monitor the entry and lobby areas
  • answer incoming telephone calls and resident inquiries forwarding messages when appropriate
  • provide excellent customer service when coordinating appointments and handling inquiries from residents and family members
  • sort and distribute incoming and outgoing mail process deliveries and faxes
  • take resident to-go orders and enter into the point-of-sale system
  • conduct daily resident security check
