Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Food, kitchen, or catering service background
  • Culinary, event planning, or hospitality degree a plus
  • Available 7 days a week from 9am to 6pm
  • Physical ability to perform tasks including bending, squatting, lifting, climbing, and walking
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Must maintain current food safety certification
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Job Qualifications

  • Food service background
  • Knowledge of catering and event planning
  • Culinary, event planning, or hospitality degree is a plus
  • Ability to work a full schedule including weekends
  • Food safety certification

Job Duties

  • Acknowledge, greet, and engage guests promptly upon arrival
  • Understand and have knowledge of all catering items including specialty platters
  • Calculate appropriate order quantities based on guest count
  • Pair foods that complement each other for customized catering menus
  • Place and coordinate catering orders with respective departments ensuring accuracy
  • Review daily orders with catering staff to confirm all details and special requests
  • Ensure timely preparation and pick-up of catering orders
  • Collaborate with other departments such as floral, bakery, wine, and dish for comprehensive party planning
  • Establish external sources for party setup and serving staff
  • Coordinate planning and budgeting for donation events with management
  • Perform additional duties as required by upper management
