Job Requirements
- High school degree or equivalent
- Proven customer service experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer applications
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and communicate effectively

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Oversee the community entry area for visitors, guests, and residents, extend a warm welcome and greeting, offer and provide beverages to visitors and guests, and ensure that the community safety protocols are in place
- Contact the Director of Sales, Executive Director, or Department Coordinator to meet with prospective residents, families, or visitors and ensure wait times are minimal
- Greet potential candidates interested in Sunrise careers and direct them to apply online or enter candidate information into the Applicant Tracking System
- Answer incoming telephone calls and resident calls within two to three rings with the appropriate community greeting message and identification
- Take complete and accurate messages and communicate them to the intended recipients
- Offer community overviews to callers, determine appropriate transfer, and notify caller of transfer details
- Manage appointments for residents and family members
- Send get well cards to hospitalized residents and sympathy cards to families as needed
- Order Memory Flowers for residents who have passed away
- Order flowers and name plates for new residents prior to move-in
- Order guest meals for residents and families on move-in day
- Maintain marketing and move-in packet inventory
- Support the Director of Sales with initial inquiry calls and lead tracking in the Customer Relationship Management system
- Perform administrative duties associated with resident move-ins
- Keep the front desk and Bistro area clean, organized, stocked with refreshments and snacks, and maintaining a pleasant atmosphere with music
- Ensure front desk coverage when attending to other duties
- Partner in community risk management to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and safety programs
- Practice safety procedures including PPE, fire extinguishers, Safety Data Sheets, and Lockout Tagout
- Maintain resident and team member rosters and emergency schedules
- Champion the Safe Leaving Program by monitoring entry and exit and maintaining a high-risk elopement list
- Respond to emergencies as per Sunrise policies
- Ensure guests and residents appropriately sign in and out
- Update resident phone lists, move-in and move-out registers, and guest logs
- Prepare, collect, and account for meal tickets and proceeds
- Distribute mail and newspapers
- Post daily menu on the Menu Board
- Maintain resident credit form as directed
- Assist with recruitment process through data entry and general administrative tasks
- Monitor and order office supplies
- Track and disperse team member paychecks
- Actively participate as part of the team to achieve goals
- Demonstrate the Team Member Credo and Principles of Service in daily interactions
- Contribute to customer and team member engagement programs
- Attend regular meetings and maintain required training compliances
- Perform other duties as assigned
