Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum two years of front-of-house or guest service experience
- Intermediate computer skills including proficiency with Excel and Word
- Typing speed of at least 35 words per minute
- Ability to greet and screen visitors professionally
- Understanding of safety and hospitality practices
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Bilingual abilities preferred
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology and hospital operations preferred
Job Qualifications
- Preferred two years of general college coursework
- Minimum two years of front-of-house or guest service-related experience
- Preferred service experience at a four diamond or higher property within 24 months of hire
- Intermediate computer skills with Excel, Word, and typing speed of 35 wpm
- Preferred intermediate user of MS Outlook
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology and hospital services
- Basic knowledge of insurance carriers and types of medical coverage
- Bilingual skills preferred
Job Duties
- Greet and screen all visitors entering the hospital
- Serve as a navigator for patients, directing them to admitting staff or appropriate service lines
- Participate in and support service enhancement programs like Benefactor/Special Guest, The Little Cottages, and Sleep Room Program
- Provide authentic hospitality and ensure a safe, welcoming environment for guests
- Communicate effectively with hospital staff and patients to facilitate smooth operations
- Maintain knowledge of hospital services, medical terminology, and insurance information
- Assist with administrative tasks related to guest services and visitor management
