Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • One to three years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Basic First Aid and CPR certification where required
  • Must successfully complete all Atria specified training programs
  • Ability to work various schedules and shifts as needed
  • Able to operate telephone, emergency call system, monitoring board or beeper, photocopier

  • Able to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
  • Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide basic numbers
  • Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed instructions
  • Able to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables
  • Able to work various schedules and shifts as needed
  • Able to operate telephone, emergency call system, monitoring board or beeper, photocopier

Job Duties

  • Serves as point of contact for all resident requests and telephone calls except emergencies
  • Coordinates services for residents and their family members such as dry cleaning and transportation
  • Maintains high standards of customer service including meeting new residents and tracking concerns
  • Answers questions about local stores, attractions, and services
  • Ensures lobby and common areas are clean and welcoming
  • Coordinates community transportation schedules
  • Serves as liaison between dining room and residents by accepting reservations and maintaining RSVP lists
  • May supervise front desk reception staff and drivers
  • May drive company vehicle for transporting residents
  • Performs other duties as assigned
