Job Requirements
- High School degree or GED
- Proven customer service experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Sunrise applications
- Ability to handle multiple priorities
- Strong communication skills
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Accurate record keeping
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Flexibility to work variable shifts including weekends
- Ability to pass drug test and comply with health and safety screenings
- Covid-19 and Influenza vaccination if mandated by law
- Ability to perform assigned duties in compliance with safety regulations.
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Oversee the community entry area for visitors, guests, and residents, extending a warm welcome and providing beverages
- Contact the Director of Sales, Executive Director, or Department Coordinator to meet with prospective residents and families, ensuring minimal wait times
- Greet potential candidates interested in careers at Sunrise, directing them to apply online or capturing candidate information in the Applicant Tracking System
- Answer incoming telephone calls and resident calls promptly with appropriate greetings and take complete messages to communicate to the intended recipients
- Offer community information to callers, determine the correct recipient, and manage call transfers
- Manage appointments for residents and family members such as hairdresser and transportation
- Send get well cards to residents hospitalized and sympathy cards to families
- Order Memory Flower for deceased residents
- Order flowers and name plates for new residents before move-in
- Order guest meals for residents and families on move-in day
- Maintain marketing and move-in packet inventory
- Support the Director of Sales by handling initial inquiry calls and assisting with Customer Relationship Management database entry
- Maintain desk and entry area cleanliness and organization
- Monitor the Bistro area for refreshments, cleanliness, and music
- Ensure front desk coverage when attending to other duties
- Partner with community team to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Practice safety procedures at all times and maintain emergency rosters for residents and team members
- Respond to emergencies following Sunrise policies
- Monitor guest and resident sign-in/out protocols
- Update resident phone lists, rosters, and logs daily
- Prepare and manage meal tickets and money collection
- Organize and distribute mail and community newspapers
- Maintain resident credit forms as directed
- Assist with recruitment data entry and administrative tasks
- Monitor and order office supplies
- Track and disperse team member paychecks
- Participate actively in team goals, meetings, and trainings
- Demonstrate the Team Member Credo and Principles of Service
- Contribute to customer and team member engagement programs
- Attend regular meetings as directed
- Perform other duties as assigned.
