Job Requirements
- High School degree or GED
- Experience in customer service roles
- Basic proficiency with computer applications and Microsoft Office
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously and maintaining organization
- Willingness to comply with safety and risk management protocols
- Availability to work in a senior living community environment
- Willingness to pass drug testing and health screenings as required
- Ability to drive a Sunrise vehicle if applicable and sign related job descriptions
Job Qualifications
- High School degree/GED
- Proven customer service experience and skills
- Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel) and Sunrise applications
- Ability to handle multiple priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good organizational, time management, and follow-through skills
- Accurate record keeping skills
- Strong judgment, problem solving, and decision-making skills
Job Duties
- Oversee the community entry area for visitors, guests, and residents, extend a warm welcome and greeting, offer and provide beverages to visitors and guests, and ensure that the community safety protocols are in place
- Contact the DOS, ED, or Department Coordinator to meet with prospective residents, families, or visitors and ensure wait times are minimal
- Greet potential candidates interested in learning more about Sunrise careers and job openings and direct candidates to apply online or capture candidate information into the ATS to launch recruitment
- Answer incoming telephone calls and resident calls within 2-3 rings with appropriate greeting and identification
- Take complete messages and communicate to intended recipients
- Offer and provide community overview to callers and manage call forwarding
- Manage appointments for residents and family members
- Send get well cards to residents in hospital and sympathy cards to families
- Order flowers, name plates, and guest meals for resident move-in
- Maintain marketing and move-in packet inventory
- Support DOS with CRM lead tracking database entry
- Keep front desk and Bistro area neat and organized and monitor refreshments
- Follow safety procedures, maintain resident and team member rosters, and champion Safe Leaving Program
- Update resident phone lists, manage mail and newspapers, prepare meal tickets, collect and process money
- Assist with recruitment data entry and monitor office supplies
- Participate actively in team meetings, training, and engagement programs
- Perform other duties as assigned
