Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- must be 18 years of age or older
- proficient in English reading, writing, speaking and comprehension
- prior experience in a customer service or receptionist role preferred
- computer literacy
- ability to maintain professionalism in appearance and demeanor
- strong interpersonal skills with patience and tact
- enthusiasm and a positive attitude toward elderly residents
Job Qualifications

- must read, write, speak and understand English

- must dress professionally as directed by management
- patient, tactful, enthusiastic and possessing a positive attitude toward the elderly

Job Duties
- smiles and extends a warm and friendly welcome to everyone entering the community
- offers refreshments to individuals waiting in the lobby
- answers every incoming telephone call as directed by management
- receives and directs inquiries from visitors, residents, family members, and employees
- maintains current list of residents and resident registry
- receives maintenance requests, completes work orders, and gives to maintenance
- monitors daily status of all residents
- maintains a resident absentee register
- manages sign-in and sign-out for outside contractors, deliverymen, service personnel, and visitors
- makes copies and sends faxes for residents and staff
- keeps record of all cash received at front desk including moneys from employee meals and postage copies
- performs other tasks, assignments, projects, or requests as directed by management
- appropriately addresses every individual leaving the community as directed
