Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven customer service experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel) and ability to learn new applications
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Good organizational and multitasking skills
- Reliable and professional demeanor
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Willingness to participate in required pre-employment screening including drug test and health evaluations
- Ability to comply with community safety protocols
- If driving a Sunrise vehicle, must sign Driver job description and comply with safety regulations
Job Qualifications
- High school degree or GED
- Proven customer service experience and skills
- Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office and Sunrise applications
- Ability to learn new software applications
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Good judgment, problem solving, and decision-making abilities
- Ability to handle multiple priorities
- Accurate record keeping skills
- Experience in a senior living or healthcare environment is beneficial but not required
Job Duties
- Oversee the community entry area for visitors, guests, and residents, offer and provide beverages, ensure safety protocols are in place
- Contact the Director of Sales, Executive Director, or Department Coordinator to meet with prospective residents, families, or visitors
- Greet potential career candidates and direct them to apply online or enter their information into the Applicant Tracking System
- Answer incoming telephone and resident calls promptly with a professional greeting
- Take and communicate complete messages to intended recipients
- Provide community overview to callers and direct calls appropriately
- Manage appointments for residents and family members
- Send get well and sympathy cards and order Memory Flowers for residents
- Order and maintain marketing and move-in packet inventory
- Support Director of Sales with lead tracking and administrative tasks
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of front desk and Bistro areas, ensure refreshments and music are available
- Monitor and restock snacks and clean the popcorn machine
- Partner with community team to uphold safety and risk management policies
- Maintain resident and team member emergency rosters and champion safety programs
- Update resident phone lists, guest logs, and registers
- Prepare and process meal tickets and money collection
- Organize and distribute mail and newspapers
- Monitor and order office supplies
- Track and distribute team member paychecks
- Actively participate in team engagement programs and attend meetings
- Maintain compliance with required training and perform other duties as assigned
