Job Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- ability to work varied hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
- capability to lift or move objects weighing up to 25 pounds
- ability to use hands and arms effectively
- good vision including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, and depth perception
- able to perform under pressure
- background verification including employment history verification
Job Qualifications
- Completed High School diploma or GED
- experience in independent work and public interaction preferred
- 1 year security experience or BA in Criminal Justice or related field or honorable military service
- some sites may require additional experience or certifications
Job Duties
- Conduct interior and exterior patrols
- monitor CCTV
- respond to emergency situations including fire alarms and medical emergencies
- monitor for suspicious activity and threats to property and occupants
- receive phone calls and dispatch responses based on priority
- maintain detailed activity logs
- complete incident and medical reports
- maintain package operations
- answer phones with positive spirit
- communicate effectively with residents and management
