Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Oversee the community entry area for visitors, guests, and residents
  • extend a warm welcome and greeting
  • offer and provide beverages to visitors and guests
  • ensure community safety protocols are in place
  • contact Director of Sales, Executive Director, or Department Coordinator to meet prospective residents, families, or visitors
  • greet potential candidates interested in Sunrise careers and direct them to apply online or capture information in Applicant Tracking System
  • answer incoming telephone and resident calls promptly with proper greeting and identification
  • take complete messages and communicate to intended recipients
  • provide community overview to callers and direct them accordingly
  • manage appointments for residents and family members
  • send get well cards to hospitalized residents
  • order Memory Flower for deceased residents
  • send sympathy cards to families
  • order flowers and name plates for new residents
  • order guest meals for move-in days
  • maintain marketing and move-in packet inventory
  • support Director of Sales with inquiry calls and lead tracking
  • perform administrative duties related to resident move-in
  • keep desk and entry area neat and organized
  • monitor Bistro area for cleanliness and refreshments
  • maintain music in the Bistro
  • ensure another team member covers front desk when away
  • partner with community team to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • practice safety procedures including PPE and fire safety
  • maintain resident and team member rosters for emergencies
  • champion Safe Leaving Program ensuring safety of residents
  • respond to emergencies per policies
  • oversee sign-in/out process for guests and residents
  • maintain high-risk elopement list
  • update daily resident phone lists and rosters
  • prepare and account for meal tickets
  • organize and distribute mail and newspapers
  • post daily menu
  • maintain resident forms for credits
  • assist with recruitment data entry and general admin tasks
  • monitor office supplies and track team member paychecks
  • participate actively in team goals and embody Team Member Credo
  • commit to serving residents and guests through Principles of Service
  • contribute to customer and team member engagement programs
  • attend required meetings and training
  • perform other assigned duties as needed
