Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • customer service experience
  • basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office
  • ability to communicate effectively
  • good organizational and time management skills
  • attention to detail and accurate record keeping
  • ability to follow safety procedures
  • willingness to participate in required training
  • compliance with pre-employment drug testing and health requirements

Job Qualifications

  • High school degree or GED
  • proven customer service experience and skills
  • proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office and Sunrise applications
  • ability to learn new applications
  • understanding of safety and regulatory compliance for team members who drive Sunrise vehicles

Job Duties

  • Oversee the community entry area for visitors, guests, and residents
  • extend a warm welcome and greeting
  • offer and provide beverages to visitors and guests
  • ensure community safety protocols are in place
  • contact the Director of Sales or Executive Director to meet prospective residents, families, or visitors
  • greet potential candidates and direct them to apply or capture information for recruitment
  • answer incoming calls with appropriate greeting
  • take and communicate complete messages
  • provide community overview to callers
  • manage appointments for residents and family members
  • send get well and sympathy cards
  • order Memory Flower for deceased residents
  • order flowers and name plates for new residents
  • order guest meals for move-in days
  • maintain marketing and move-in packet inventory
  • support Director of Sales with inquiries and lead tracking
  • perform administrative duties related to resident move-in
  • keep desk and entry area neat and organized
  • monitor and stock Bistro area refreshments
  • maintain music throughout the day
  • ensure coverage when away from the desk
  • ensure compliance with safety regulations
  • practice safety procedures and maintain emergency rosters
  • champion the Safe Leaving Program
  • respond to emergencies as per policies
  • maintain sign-in/out logs for guests and residents
  • update resident phone lists and rosters
  • prepare and tally meal tickets for team and family
  • handle money in accordance with procedures
  • organize and distribute mail and newspapers
  • maintain resident forms for credits
  • assist recruitment with data entry
  • monitor and order office supplies
  • track and disperse team paychecks
  • participate actively in team goals and engagement
  • demonstrate Team Member Credo
  • commit to Principles of Service
  • attend meetings and maintain training compliance
  • perform other duties as assigned
