Job Requirements

  • Completed high school diploma or GED
  • 1 year security experience or equivalent
  • ability to perform physical duties including standing, walking, climbing stairs, lifting up to 25 pounds
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to work varied hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • capacity to respond promptly to emergencies
  • willingness to maintain alertness under pressure
  • ability to provide customer-focused service
  • adherence to company safety protocols

Job Qualifications

  • Completed high school diploma or GED
  • experience in both independent work and interacting with the public preferred
  • 1 year security experience, or BA in Criminal Justice or related field or honorable military service
  • some sites may require additional experience or certifications

Job Duties

  • Conduct interior and exterior patrols
  • monitor CCTV
  • respond to emergency situations (fire alarms, medical emergencies or incidents)
  • monitor for suspicious activity and threats to the property and occupants
  • receive phone calls and dispatch response in a timely manner based on priority
  • maintain a detailed activity log
  • complete detailed reports (incident and medical)
  • maintain package operations
  • answer phones with positive spirit
  • effectively communicate with residents and members of management
