Job Requirements

  • proven customer service experience
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office and Sunrise applications
  • ability to learn new software
  • ability to handle multiple priorities

  • valid driver’s license if driving a Sunrise vehicle

Job Duties

  • Oversee the community entry area for visitors, guests, and residents
  • contact the DOS, ED, or Department Coordinator to meet with prospective residents, families, or visitors
  • greet potential candidates interested in Sunrise careers and direct them to apply online or enter information into the Applicant Tracking System
  • answer incoming telephone calls and resident calls promptly
  • take complete messages and communicate them to intended recipients
  • offer and provide a community overview to callers and forward calls appropriately
  • manage appointments for residents and family members
  • send get well and sympathy cards as needed
  • order flowers and name plates for new residents
  • order guest meals for resident and family on move-in day
  • maintain marketing and move-in packet inventory
  • support DOS with initial inquiry calls and lead tracking
  • perform administrative duties related to resident move-in
  • keep desk and entry area neat and organized
  • check Bistro area for cleanliness and stock refreshments
  • maintain music throughout the day
  • ensure front desk coverage when stepping away
  • partner with team to ensure compliance with safety regulations
  • practice safety procedures including PPE and fire extinguisher use
  • maintain resident and team member rosters
  • champion Safe Leaving Program and respond to emergencies
  • ensure guests and residents sign in and out properly
  • maintain a high-risk elopement list
  • update resident phone lists and logs daily
  • prepare and tally meal tickets and handle money according to procedures
  • organize and distribute mail and newspapers
  • post and display the daily menu
  • maintain resident credit forms
  • assist with recruitment data entry and general administrative duties
  • monitor and order office supplies
  • track and disperse team member paychecks
  • actively participate in team activities
  • demonstrate Team Member Credo and Principles of Service
  • contribute to engagement programs
  • attend regular meetings
  • maintain required training compliance
  • perform other duties as assigned
