Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Prior customer service experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and relevant computer applications
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Effective communication skills
  • Knowledge of safety and emergency procedures
  • Ability to maintain accurate records
  • Willingness to participate in required training and compliance programs
  • Pass drug testing and health screenings including tuberculosis and physical evaluation
  • Covid-19 and influenza vaccinations as mandated by law.

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Oversee the community entry area for visitors, guests, and residents, extend a warm welcome and greeting, offer and provide beverages to visitors and guests, and ensure that the community safety protocols are in place
  • Contact the Director of Sales, Executive Director, or Department Coordinator to meet with prospective residents, families, or visitors and ensure wait times are minimal
  • Greet potential candidates interested in Sunrise careers and direct them to apply online or enter candidate information into the Applicant Tracking System
  • Answer incoming telephone calls and resident calls within 2-3 rings with the appropriate greeting and identification
  • Take complete and accurate messages and communicate them to intended recipients
  • Offer community overviews to callers and determine who to transfer calls to
  • Manage appointments for residents and family members such as hairdresser and transportation
  • Send get well cards to residents in the hospital and sympathy cards to families
  • Order flowers and nameplates for new residents prior to move-in
  • Maintain marketing and move-in packet inventory
  • Support the Director of Sales with initial inquiry calls and lead tracking database entry
  • Keep desk and entry area neat and organized
  • Monitor and maintain bistro cleanliness and refreshments
  • Ensure safety compliance by partnering with the community team on occupational health and safety policies
  • Maintain resident and team member rosters and emergency schedules
  • Respond to emergencies as per Sunrise policies
  • Ensure all guests and residents sign in and out
  • Update resident contact lists and daily registers
  • Prepare and process meal tickets and money
  • Organize and distribute mail and newspapers
  • Assist with recruitment data entry and administrative tasks
  • Participate actively in team goals and engagement programs
  • Attend regular meetings and maintain compliance with training requirements
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
