Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Oversee the community entry area for visitors, guests, and residents, extend a warm welcome and greeting, offer and provide beverages to visitors and guests, and ensure that the community safety protocols are in place
  • Contact the Director of Sales, Executive Director, or Department Coordinator to meet with prospective residents, families, or visitors and ensure wait times are minimal
  • Greet potential candidates interested in careers and direct them to apply online or capture their information to launch recruitment
  • Answer incoming telephone and resident calls promptly with appropriate greetings and identification
  • Take and communicate complete messages with pertinent information
  • Offer and provide community overviews, forward calls appropriately, and notify callers
  • Manage appointments for residents and family members such as hairdresser and transportation
  • Send get well and sympathy cards to residents and families as needed
  • Order flowers, name plates, and guest meals for new residents and maintain marketing and move-in packet inventory
  • Support sales by handling initial inquiry calls and assist with lead tracking database entry
  • Keep front desk and Bistro areas neat, ensure refreshments and music are maintained, and coordinate coverage when away
  • Partner with community team to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, practice safety procedures including PPE and emergency protocols
  • Maintain resident, team member rosters and emergency work schedules
  • Champion the Safe Leaving Program and respond to emergencies according to policies
  • Update resident phone lists, move-in/out registers, guest logs
  • Prepare and process meal tickets and money
  • Organize and distribute mail and newspapers
  • Assist with recruitment data entry and administrative duties
  • Monitor and order office supplies
  • Track and disperse team member paychecks
  • Participate actively as a team member, demonstrate Team Member Credo, adhere to Principles of Service, contribute to engagement programs, attend meetings, maintain required training compliance
  • Perform other assigned duties.
