Job Requirements

  • High school education required
  • Minimum of two years experience in a related position preferably in hospitality
  • Ability to add, subtract and multiply
  • Understand issues and process information effectively
  • Excellent communication skills including active listening
  • Ability to speak, write and read English
  • Proficient in basic office equipment and computer software
  • Ability to perform physical job requirements
  • Pass a health screening including chest x-ray or intradermal test
  • Pass a criminal record clearance

Job Duties

  • Provide all residents, guests and visitors exceptional customer service during every interaction whether in-person or via the telephone
  • Learn and know all residents by name
  • Greet all residents and visitors
  • Provide information about the property
  • Assist residents, family members, and guests with general requests
  • Arrange tours of the property
  • Answer telephones and relay messages
  • Display knowledge of services and programs
  • Manage mail meter, stamps, making copies, and office operations
  • Record receipt of packages and contact residents
  • Handle business center requests such as photocopying, faxing, shipping mail
  • Process and distribute incoming mail
  • Complete opening and closing duties
  • Take reservations for dining rooms and activities
  • Record maintenance work order requests and deliver to Maintenance Department
  • Monitor Emergency Alert System and respond to calls
  • Maintain Resident Notice Binder
  • Arrange parking and retrieval of valet cars
  • Arrange wake-up calls, dry cleaning, pet care and personal errands
  • Fulfill personal concierge requests
  • Maintain reception area neat and orderly
  • Keep posted signage accurate and timely
  • Perform clerical duties
  • Update and assemble marketing packets
  • Respond promptly to resident concerns and emergencies
  • Support marketing efforts through positive interaction
  • Communicate resident condition changes
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment
  • Encourage teamwork
  • Support a positive professional image
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors
