Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior customer service experience
  • Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office and specialized applications
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Willingness to comply with safety and health protocols
  • Ability to pass drug testing and health screening
  • Flexibility to work weekend shifts Saturdays and Sundays from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Understanding of confidentiality and privacy standards
  • Ability to engage positively with residents, families, and colleagues.

Job Qualifications

  • High school degree or GED
  • Proven customer service experience
  • Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office and Sunrise applications
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities effectively
  • Good judgment, problem solving, and decision-making skills
  • Experience or willingness to learn recruitment and administrative processes
  • Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance
  • Ability to maintain accurate records
  • Team player and active contributor to team goals
  • Familiarity with health and safety procedures.

Job Duties

  • Oversee community entry area and greet visitors, guests, and residents
  • Offer and provide beverages to visitors and guests
  • Ensure community safety protocols are in place
  • Contact Director of Sales, Executive Director, or Department Coordinator to meet prospective residents or visitors
  • Greet potential job candidates and guide them through recruitment process
  • Answer incoming telephone and resident calls promptly with appropriate greeting
  • Take and communicate complete messages accurately
  • Provide community overview to callers and direct calls appropriately
  • Manage appointments for residents and family members
  • Send get well and sympathy cards to residents and families
  • Order flowers and name plates for new residents
  • Maintain marketing and move-in packet inventories
  • Support Director of Sales with inquiry calls and customer relationship management
  • Perform administrative duties related to resident move-in process
  • Keep front desk and entry area organized and clean
  • Monitor and restock Bistro area snacks and refreshments
  • Play music throughout the day
  • Practice and promote community safety and risk management procedures
  • Maintain resident, team member rosters and schedules for emergencies
  • Respond to emergencies as per Sunrise policies
  • Ensure guests and residents sign in and out appropriately
  • Update resident phone lists, logs, and registers daily
  • Prepare and process meal tickets and related funds
  • Organize and distribute mail and newspapers
  • Assist with recruitment and perform computer data entry tasks
  • Track and disperse team member paychecks
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions
  • Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Perform other assigned duties.
