Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Proven customer service experience
- Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Ability to learn new applications quickly
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to handle multiple priorities effectively
- Willingness to comply with health and safety protocols and complete required screenings
- Valid driver’s agreement if operating Sunrise vehicles
Job Qualifications
- High school degree or GED
- Proven customer service experience and skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Windows, Outlook, and Excel
- Ability to learn new software applications, including Sunrise-specific programs
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Accurate record-keeping and problem-solving abilities
- Commitment to team collaboration and following company principles
- Experience in a senior living or healthcare environment is preferred but not required
Job Duties
- Oversee the community entry area for visitors and residents with a warm welcome and community safety protocols
- Contact sales and executive directors to coordinate meetings with prospective residents and families
- Greet potential job candidates and support recruitment by capturing candidate information
- Answer and manage incoming telephone calls and take messages accurately
- Provide community overviews and direct calls appropriately
- Manage appointments for residents and family members such as hairdresser and transportation
- Send get well and sympathy cards to residents and families
- Order flowers and name plates for new residents
- Support sales efforts by handling initial inquiry calls and maintaining marketing materials
- Maintain neatness and atmosphere of front desk and Bistro areas
- Monitor compliance with occupational health and safety regulations and promote risk management policies
- Maintain resident and team member rosters and emergency procedure lists
- Respond to emergencies following community policies
- Manage sign-in and sign-out procedures for guests and residents
- Update daily administrative records such as resident phone lists and guest logs
- Prepare, collect, and account for meal tickets and funds
- Organize and distribute mail and newspapers
- Assist with recruitment data entry and office supply orders
- Track and disburse team member paychecks
- Participate actively in team engagement, trainings, and meetings
- Maintain compliance with required training and perform additional duties as assigned
