Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One to two years of clerical experience preferred
- Ability to read, write, and understand English
- Ability to follow written or oral instructions
- Ability to make independent decisions during emergencies
- Professional interaction with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and the public
- Knowledge of administrative practices and processes
- Experience using Microsoft software
- Patience, professionalism, and enthusiasm
- Ability to handle diverse maturity levels of residents and visitors

Job Duties
- Support the mission, core values and goals of the organization
- Complete all hours of state-mandated continuing education each year
- Promote and display a spirit of teamwork through cooperative interactions with coworkers and departments
- Support a positive, professional image through actions and attire
- Promote the property and communicate the organization’s values to residents, visitors, coworkers, and the community
- Greet visitors seeking information about the property
- Be responsive to inquiries and direct visitors to appropriate offices or resident apartments
- Assist residents, family members, and guests with general requests and arrange tours
- Answer telephones, record and channel information
- Maintain knowledge of community services, programs, and other pertinent information
- Manage mail meter, stamps, make copies, and other office tasks
- Administer required medical screening
- Process and distribute incoming mail
- Maintain reception area neatness and ensure lobby displays current literature
- Ensure coffee and refreshments are fresh and available
- Perform clerical duties as directed
- Support marketing efforts through positive interaction during tours and phone contact
- Immediately communicate any observed or suspected resident changes to a supervisor
- Maintain a safe work environment following safety standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
