Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in customer service or reception preferred
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to multitask and manage time effectively
  • basic computer skills
  • ability to maintain confidentiality
  • friendly and professional demeanor
  • ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in senior living or healthcare environment preferred
  • knowledge of community marketing and sales processes helpful
  • proficiency with office software including email and scheduling tools
  • demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information responsibly
  • excellent problem-solving skills
  • strong organizational skills
  • ability to engage positively with residents and families

Job Duties

  • Proactively assists residents, families, visitors, and team members with questions or problems resulting in a positive experience
  • greet all visitors and answer incoming calls in a professional and respectful manner
  • monitors entry area for visitors and guests, greets, and directs as necessary, answers incoming telephone calls and resident calls, forwards and takes messages, receives and sends packages for residents, assists with residents who request assistance with mailing letters and packages
  • manages the lobby
  • monitors and ensures desk and lobby are clean and neat
  • creates a comfortable, inviting area
  • assists the Director of Resident Engagement and/or others as necessary in promoting programming with residents in the lobby
  • manages the inquiry process, connecting the caller or visiting customer to the appropriate inquiry team member
  • responds to inquiries and/or tours when Director of Sales and Marketing, Executive Director and other Directors are not available
  • facilitates experiences/tours of community as needed
  • knowledgeable and assists in supporting the marketing standards of the community
  • assists with duties related to the Lead Management Program
  • assists with assembling marketing packets as needed
  • assists in processing new resident documentation
  • assists in maintenance of resident files and documentation while maintaining confidentiality
  • promotes and encourages residents to participate in programming
  • follows and communicates company policies and procedures
  • other duties may be assigned as necessary
