Job Requirements

  • ability to read, write and comprehend English

  • high school graduate or equivalent preferred
  • ability to manage multiple priorities

Job Qualifications

  • 1-2 years experience in patient relations, customer service, or healthcare, preferably in a long-term care setting
  • high school graduate or equivalent preferred
  • ability to read, write and comprehend English
  • strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills
  • ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities
  • a genuine passion for working with seniors and improving their quality of life

Job Duties

  • build relationships with residents through continual monitoring of overall satisfaction during their stay
  • work collaboratively with the care team to ensure that residents' needs and preferences are met
  • advocate for residents' rights and ensure that their voices are heard in all aspects of their care
  • implement initiatives to improve the overall patient experience
  • manage difficult or emotional resident situations by identifying and resolving these problems in a timely manner
  • provide support and guidance to families during difficult transitions or times of need
