Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in security or customer service preferred
  • ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
  • strong communication skills
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • physical ability to perform job duties including lifting and standing
  • flexibility to work overtime, weekends and extended hours
  • must be able to understand and respond to emergency procedures
  • must have the ability to complete required forms accurately
  • must be able to walk building premises for monitoring
  • reasonable accommodations provided for disabilities

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • demonstrates excellent customer service, communication and time management skills
  • basic knowledge of Microsoft Applications, especially Outlook, Word and Excel
  • command of information system hardware/software preferred
  • good written and verbal communication skills
  • strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • ability to quickly and easily navigate the property/building
  • ability to lift 30 - 50 lbs
  • able to stand, sit for long periods, walk and occasionally climb
  • able to handle, finger, grasp and lift objects and packages
  • ability to detect auditory and/or visual emergency alarms
  • ability to work extended/flexible hours, weekends, and attend Board meetings

Job Duties

  • Provides exceptional customer service
  • meets and greets residents
  • checks guests and service providers in/out
  • understands and reacts to emergency response and access control procedures
  • monitors and operates electronic security control systems
  • accurately maintains daily logs, records and forms
  • assists with general concierge services
  • performs administrative clerical, Word and Excel document work
  • walks the building premises for monitoring
  • monitors and controls access to the building
  • resolves and follows up on complaints/issues, escalating to supervisor if necessary
  • helps maintain a safe and secure environment throughout the property
  • understands and completes required forms
  • may be assigned other duties by supervisor
