Job Requirements
- High school degree or GED
- Proven customer service experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Sunrise applications
- Ability to use applicant tracking systems
- Good communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to follow safety procedures including PPE use
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Compliance with all requisite training
- Pass a drug test
- Pass tuberculosis test and physical evaluation
- Covid-19 and influenza vaccination as mandated by law
- For team members driving a Sunrise vehicle, must sign the Driver job description and understand safety duties
- Ability to handle emergencies and maintain safety protocols
Job Qualifications
- High school degree or GED
- Proven customer service experience and skills
- Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel) and Sunrise applications
- Ability to learn new software applications quickly
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good organizational, time management, and follow-through capabilities
- Accurate record-keeping skills
- Good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to handle multiple priorities
- Commitment to team collaboration and customer service principles
- Familiarity with occupational health and safety practices preferred.
Job Duties
- Oversee the community entry area for visitors, greet potential residents, families, and visitors warmly, offer and provide beverages, ensure community safety protocols are in place
- Contact Director of Sales, Executive Director, or Department Coordinator to coordinate meetings with prospective residents and families
- Greet potential job candidates, direct them to apply online or capture information into Applicant Tracking System
- Answer incoming telephone and resident calls promptly with appropriate greeting, take complete messages and communicate them accurately
- Provide community overviews to callers and direct them accordingly
- Manage appointments for residents and family members including hairdresser and transportation
- Send get well and sympathy cards to residents and families
- Order flowers and name plates for new residents
- Maintain marketing and move-in packet inventory
- Support Director of Sales with inquiry calls and lead tracking
- Keep front desk and Bistro areas neat, fresh refreshments stocked, and music playing
- Ensure front desk coverage when away
- Partner with team to maintain compliance with health and safety regulations
- Practice safety procedures and ensure use of Personal Protective Equipment
- Maintain resident and team member rosters for emergency procedures
- Monitor resident sign-in/sign-out and maintain high-risk elopement list
- Update resident phone list, guest logs, and move-in/move-out registers daily
- Prepare and process meal tickets, manage money collection according to business procedures
- Organize and distribute mail and newspapers
- Monitor and order office supplies
- Track and disburse team member paychecks
- Participate actively in team meetings, training, and engagement programs
- Maintain compliance with required training and perform other assigned duties.
