Job Requirements

  • High school degree or GED
  • Proven customer service experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer applications
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Good judgment and problem solving skills
  • Compliance with drug testing and health screening requirements
  • Availability to work weekend part-time hours
  • Commitment to workplace safety and regulatory compliance

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Oversee community entry area by greeting visitors, guests, and residents
  • Offer and provide beverages to visitors and guests
  • Ensure community safety protocols are in place
  • Contact Director of Sales, Executive Director, or Department Coordinator to assist prospective residents or families
  • Greet potential job candidates and facilitate application process
  • Answer incoming telephone calls promptly with an appropriate greeting
  • Take complete messages and communicate to intended recipients
  • Provide community overview to callers and forward calls accordingly
  • Manage appointments for residents and family members
  • Send get well cards, order Memory Flowers, and send sympathy cards as needed
  • Order flowers and name plates for new residents
  • Order guest meals for move-in days
  • Create and maintain marketing and move-in packet inventory
  • Support Director of Sales with inquiry calls and lead tracking
  • Perform administrative duties related to resident move-ins
  • Maintain a neat and organized front desk and entry area
  • Monitor Bistro cleanliness and restock refreshments
  • Keep background music playing
  • Ensure front desk coverage when away
  • Partner with team to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
  • Practice safety procedures including proper use of PPE
  • Maintain resident and team member rosters and schedules for emergencies
  • Champion Safe Leaving Program and respond to emergencies per policy
  • Manage guest and resident sign-in and sign-out records
  • Update resident phone lists and move-in/out registers
  • Prepare and process meal tickets and payments according to procedures
  • Organize and distribute mail and newspapers
  • Post daily menu and maintain miscellaneous credit forms
  • Assist with recruitment data entry and office supply management
  • Track and disburse team member paychecks
  • Actively participate in team engagement and training
  • Attend meetings and maintain compliance with training
  • Perform other duties as assigned
