Job Duties

  • Smile and extend a warm and friendly welcome to everyone entering the community
  • offer waiting individuals something to drink and/or eat
  • answer every incoming telephone call as directed by management
  • receive all incoming telephone calls and direct them to proper department personnel
  • receive inquiries made by visitors, residents, family members, and employees and direct them to the proper personnel for information
  • maintain current list of residents and maintain resident registry
  • receive requests for maintenance work, complete work orders, and give to maintenance
  • maintain daily check on all residents
  • maintain a resident absentee register
  • have outside contractors, deliverymen, service men, and visitors sign in and out in a daily journal
  • make copies on copy machines for residents and staff as appropriate
  • send all fax copies for residents and staff as appropriate
  • keep record of all cash received at front desk including money received from employee meals and postage copies to be submitted to bookkeeping monthly
  • perform any other tasks, assignments, projects or requests as deemed by management
  • appropriately address every individual leaving the community as directed by management
