Job Requirements

Job Duties
- Oversee the community entry area for visitors, guests, and residents
- extend a warm welcome and greeting
- offer and provide beverages to visitors and guests
- ensure community safety protocols are in place
- contact DOS, ED, or Department Coordinator to meet with prospective residents, families, or visitors
- greet potential candidates interested in Sunrise careers and direct candidates to apply online or capture candidate information in ATS
- answer incoming telephone and resident calls within two to three rings
- take complete messages with pertinent information and communicate to intended recipient
- provide community overview to callers and forward appropriately
- manage appointments for residents and family members
- send get well cards to residents in hospital
- order Memory Flower for deceased residents
- send sympathy cards to families and responsible parties
- order flowers and name plates for new residents
- order guest meals for resident and family on move-in day
- create and maintain marketing and move-in packet inventory
- support DOS with inquiry calls and Customer Relationship Management database entry
- perform administrative duties related to resident move-in process
- keep desk and entry area neat and organized
- check Bistro regularly for cleanliness and restock refreshments and snacks
- keep music playing throughout the day
- ensure front desk coverage when away
- partner with community team to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- practice safety procedures including PPE, fire extinguishers, SDS, and Lockout Tagout
- maintain Resident and Team Member Rosters and work schedules for emergencies
- champion Safe Leaving Program and respond to emergencies per policies
- manage guest and resident sign-in and out
- maintain high-risk elopement list with photographs
- update resident phone list and roster daily
- prepare meal tickets and tally meal counts
- collect meal ticket money and process according to control procedures
- organize and distribute mail
- collect and distribute resident and community newspapers
- post and display daily menus
- maintain resident form for miscellaneous credits
- assist BOC/HR Designee with recruitment data entry and administrative tasks
- monitor and order office supplies
- track and disperse team member paychecks
- participate actively as team member and commit to team goals
- demonstrate Team Member Credo in daily interactions
- commit to serving residents and guests through Principles of Service
- contribute to engagement programs and attend meetings
- maintain compliance with required trainings
- perform other assigned duties
