Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Less than one year related experience or training
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Availability for day shifts and weekend work
  • Ability to stand, walk, use hands, reach with hands and arms, talk or hear
  • Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl occasionally
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

Job Duties

  • Speaks to and interacts with residents, families, and visitors showing empathy, kindness, compassion, and respect
  • Answers phone with a welcoming and inviting attitude and responds courteously
  • Assists in scheduling new hires for review and completion of new hire paperwork
  • Assists the Business Office Manager when needed
  • Receives and routes incoming and outgoing mail when needed
  • Types all correspondence as requested
  • Responds promptly and courteously to resident's request for assistance including phone calls and requests from family members and visitors
