Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • one to three years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • basic first aid and CPR certification where required
  • must successfully complete all Atria specified training programs
  • able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
  • able to write simple correspondence
  • ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
  • able to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's
  • able to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
  • ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
  • able to work various schedules and shifts as needed
  • able to operate telephone, emergency call system, monitoring board or beeper, photocopier

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Serve as point of contact for all resident requests and telephone calls except emergencies
  • coordinate services for residents and family members including delivery and reservations
  • maintain high standards of customer service and promptly address concerns
  • answer questions about local stores, attractions, and services
  • ensure lobby and common areas are clean, welcoming, and appropriately maintained
  • coordinate community transportation schedules and appointments
  • act as liaison between dining room and residents managing meal reservations and RSVPs
  • supervise front desk reception staff and drivers as needed
  • drive company vehicle to social and other destinations when required
  • perform other duties as assigned
