Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • One to three years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Basic First Aid and CPR certification where required
  • Must successfully complete all Atria specified training programs
  • Able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees
  • Able to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s
  • Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
  • Able to work various schedules and shifts as needed
  • Able to operate telephone, emergency call system, monitoring board or beeper, photocopier

  • Ability to handle problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
  • Ability to work various schedules and shifts as needed
  • Proficient in operating telephone, emergency call system, monitoring board or beeper, photocopier

Job Duties

  • Serve as point of contact for all resident requests and telephone calls except emergencies
  • Coordinate services for residents and their family members such as dry cleaning, grocery delivery, beauty services, and transportation
  • Maintain high standards of customer service including meeting new residents and addressing concerns
  • Answer questions about local stores, attractions, and services
  • Ensure lobby and common areas are clean and welcoming with appropriate background music and floral arrangements
  • Coordinate transportation schedules including medical appointments and community outings
  • Serve as liaison between dining room and residents by managing meal reservations and event RSVPs
  • May supervise front desk staff and drivers and provide coverage for receptionist duties
  • May drive company vehicle to social and other destinations as required
  • Perform other duties as assigned
