Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in customer service or concierge roles preferred
- Strong computer and critical thinking skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of emergency procedures and building safety
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Positive and professional demeanor
- Ability to work under pressure and problem solve
Job Duties
- Answer phones and route calls to appropriate persons or departments
- Ensure all visitors sign in via kiosk
- Call resident apartments to announce visitors before sending visitors to apartments
- Enter work orders for housekeeping, pest control, and maintenance issues
- Accept packages, monitor postal delivery, and notify residents of deliveries
- Inform executive director and department heads immediately when officials enter the building
- Initiate assistance from local medical professionals such as police or EMT in emergencies
- Know building layout and assist emergency services in locating resident units
- Operate fire alarm panel and direct resident response during emergencies
- Receive and deliver flowers and notify appropriate persons
- Assist individuals completing applications and direct to department heads
- Meet and greet new residents
- Assist visitors, families, and employees as needed
- Participate in fire response and follow all safety policies and procedures
- Secure the building during evening and overnight shifts, conducting rounds for resident safety
- Deliver newspapers to resident doors
- Complete resident daily check-in with possible apartment visits
- Respond to resident emergency calls promptly
- Assist before, during, and after any types of disasters
- Perform all other assigned duties
