Job Requirements
- High school degree or GED
- Proven customer service experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Windows, Outlook, Excel, and Sunrise applications
- Ability to learn new applications
- Compliance with safety and regulatory requirements if operating a Sunrise vehicle
- Ability to adhere to workplace safety procedures and protocols

Job Duties
- Oversee the community entry area for visitors, guests, and residents, extend a warm welcome and greeting, offer and provide beverages to visitors and guests, and ensure community safety protocols are in place
- Contact the Director of Sales, Executive Director, or Department Coordinator to meet prospective residents, families, or visitors and minimize wait times
- Greet potential job candidates, guide them to apply online or record their information in the Applicant Tracking System
- Answer incoming calls with appropriate community greeting and identification within two to three rings
- Take detailed messages and forward to the intended recipient
- Provide community overview to callers, direct calls to appropriate personnel, and notify callers of transfer
- Manage residents' and family members' appointments such as hairdresser and transportation
- Send get well cards to residents hospitalized and order Memory Flower for deceased residents
- Send sympathy cards to families or responsible parties as needed
- Order flowers and name plates for new residents before move-in and guest meals on move-in day
- Maintain marketing and move-in packet inventory
- Support Director of Sales by handling initial inquiry calls and assist with Customer Relationship Management database entry
- Keep front desk and entry area neat and organized
- Monitor and stock Bistro area with refreshments and maintain cleanliness
- Ensure music plays throughout the day
- Ensure front desk coverage during absence
- Partner with community team to comply with occupational health and safety regulations
- Follow safety procedures including PPE, fire extinguishers, and Lockout Tagout
- Maintain resident and team member rosters and emergency work schedules
- Champion Safe Leaving Program and monitor residents’ entry and exit
- Respond to emergencies per Sunrise policies
- Ensure guests and residents sign in and out properly
- Update resident phone list, rosters, and sign-in logs
- Prepare and tally meal tickets and collect money per procedures
- Organize and distribute mail and newspapers
- Post daily menu on menu board
- Maintain resident credit forms and assist with recruitment data entry
- Monitor and order office supplies
- Track and disperse team member paychecks
- Participate in team engagement programs and meetings
- Comply with required training
- Perform other assigned duties as needed
