Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • at least two years experience in related role preferably hospitality
  • proficiency in English communication
  • proficiency in office equipment and software applications
  • physical ability to meet job demands
  • health clearance including chest x-ray or test within six months
  • pass criminal background check
  • demonstrate genuine concern for older adults

Job Qualifications

  • High school education
  • minimum two years related experience preferably in hospitality
  • excellent communication skills including active listening
  • proficiency with office equipment and computer software
  • ability to speak, read and write English
  • mathematical skills to add, subtract and multiply
  • compassion for older adults
  • strong reasoning skills to process information
  • ability to work under supervision

Job Duties

  • Provide all residents, guests and visitors exceptional customer service during every interaction
  • greet all residents and visitors and provide information about the property
  • assist residents, family members and guests with general requests
  • arrange for tours of the property
  • answer telephones and direct calls to the appropriate department
  • display knowledge of services and programs
  • manage mail meter, stamps and office tasks
  • handle business center requests including photocopying and faxing
  • process and sort incoming mail without opening it
  • complete all opening and closing duties
  • take reservations for dining rooms, activities and transportation
  • receive and record maintenance work order requests
  • monitor Emergency Alert System and respond immediately
  • maintain Resident Notice Binder
  • arrange valet car parking and retrieval
  • fulfill personal concierge requests including restaurant reservations and internet research
  • maintain reception area neat and orderly
  • ensure signage is accurate and clean
  • perform clerical duties as directed
  • update marketing packets
  • respond promptly to residents' concerns including emergency calls
  • support marketing efforts through positive interaction
  • communicate resident condition changes to supervisors immediately
  • maintain safe and secure environment
  • encourage teamwork
  • support a positive and professional image
  • perform other duties as assigned by management
