Job Duties
- Oversee the community entry area for visitors, guests, and residents, extend a warm welcome and greeting, offer and provide beverages to visitors and guests, and ensure that the community safety protocols are in place
- Contact the Director of Sales, Executive Director, or Department Coordinator to meet with prospective residents, families, or visitors and ensure wait times are minimal
- Greet potential candidates interested in learning more about Sunrise careers and job openings and direct candidates to apply online or capture candidate information into the Applicant Tracking System to launch recruitment process
- Answer incoming telephone calls and resident calls within two to three rings with the appropriate community greeting message and identification
- Take complete messages with pertinent information and communicate messages to the intended recipient
- Offer and provide a community overview to callers and determine appropriate transfer
- Manage appointments for residents and family members
- Send get well cards to residents in the hospital
- Order Memory Flower for residents who have passed away
- Send sympathy cards to families
- Order flowers and name plates for new residents prior to move in
- Order guest meals for residents and families on move-in day
- Create and maintain marketing and move-in packet inventory
- Support the Director of Sales with lead tracking database entry
- Perform other administrative duties related to resident move-in process
- Keep desk and entry area neat and organized
- Check Bistro regularly for cleanliness and refreshments
- Maintain and clean popcorn machine daily
- Ensure music plays throughout the day
- Ensure front desk coverage when away
- Partner with community team to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
- Practice safety procedures including PPE, fire extinguishers, SDS, and lockout tagout
- Maintain resident and team member roster and work schedules for emergencies
- Champion Safe Leaving Program
- Respond to emergencies per policy
- Manage guest and resident sign-in and sign-out
- Maintain high-risk elopement list
- Monitor entry and exit of residents
- Update resident phone list, move-in and move-out register, and guest logs
- Prepare meal tickets and tally meal counts
- Collect and process meal ticket payments
- Organize and distribute mail and newspapers
- Post and display daily menu
- Maintain resident form for miscellaneous credits
- Assist with recruitment data entry and administrative tasks
- Monitor and order office supplies
- Track and disperse team member paychecks
- Participate actively in team goals and meetings

- Commit to serving residents and guests through Principles of Service
- Engage in team member engagement programs and training
- Perform other duties as assigned
