Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1-2 years supervisory experience in food and beverage
  • Valid food handling certificate or alcohol permit if required by state regulations
  • Ability to maintain excellent attendance and punctuality
  • Strong communication abilities
  • Team player who excels in fast-paced environments
  • Ability to handle cash responsibilities with accuracy
  • Basic math competency for transactions and inventory
  • Willingness to work scheduled event hours including nights and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • At least 1-2 years experience in a supervisory role within a food and beverage environment
  • Ability to supervise and lead others effectively
  • Strong communication skills with employees, volunteers, management, and guests
  • Proficient in English speaking, reading, and writing
  • Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven setting
  • Valid food handling certificate or alcohol service permit as required by law
  • Accurate cash handling skills
  • Basic math skills relating to POS cash/credit transactions and inventory management

Job Duties

  • Ensure proper set-up of all concessions locations prior to doors including verifying inventory, assigning duties, and sanitation standards
  • Provide high-level oversight for efficient and profitable event execution
  • Train new and current employees on procedures and best practices
  • Cover and back-up any open position to maintain operational standards
  • Maintain a safe and harassment-free work environment addressing safety concerns promptly
  • Ensure staff and volunteers understand workplace expectations and foster a positive team environment
  • Obtain and maintain knowledge of concession locations, equipment, and emergency procedures
  • Supervise beverage service including checking IDs for alcohol purchases
  • Record and relay guest orders using POS systems
  • Observe guests for additional needs and meal completion
  • Calculate meal costs and handle payment transactions accurately
  • Recommend menu items and provide ingredient information
  • Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards
  • Assure equipment functionality and cleanliness before events
  • Manage visibly intoxicated guests responsibly
  • Enforce company policies and procedures
  • Handle employee relations including coaching, corrective action, and HR paperwork
  • Assist management with training, inventory, and special event projects
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
