Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1-2 years of supervisory experience in food and beverage
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and event days
- Must have valid food handling certificate or alcohol service permit where required
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory
- Excellent attendance record
- Ability to lead and motivate staff
- Commitment to safety and compliance
- Must be at least 18 years old
Job Qualifications
- At least 1-2 years experience working in a supervisory capacity in a food and beverage environment
- Ability to supervise the work of others
- Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff, and guests
- Ability to speak, read, and write in English
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment
- Possess valid food handling certificate or alcohol service permit if required by state or federal regulations
- Ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly
- Ability to calculate basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages
Job Duties
- Ensure proper set-up of all concessions locations prior to doors
- Provide a high level of oversight and operational expertise for event execution
- Train new and current employees on property procedures and best practices
- Cover or back-up any open position to ensure full operation and meet company standards
- Ensure a safe work environment free from harassment or discrimination and immediately address safety concerns
- Provide ongoing assistance, training, and mentoring to event staff and volunteers while promoting a positive workplace environment
- Supervise the service of beverages, including verifying guest IDs for alcoholic beverages
- Assist in recording orders and relaying them to the kitchen via POS system
- Observe guests to respond to requests and determine meal completion
- Compute costs and handle payments accurately
- Recommend menu items and explain ingredients or preparation methods
- Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards
- Ensure excellent attendance and supervise clean, operable equipment prior to events
- Recognize intoxicated guests and take appropriate action
- Enforce all company policies and procedures
- Practice excellent human resources skills including employee relations, corrective action, coaching, and counseling
- Assist management with projects such as training, inventory, and special events
- Perform all other duties as assigned by managers and supervisors
