Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 5 years leadership experience in sports and entertainment or food and beverage operations
  • Ability to travel domestically for 10-20 day trips
  • Proficient in MS Office and POS systems
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to rent and drive cars
  • Ability to operate golf carts
  • Physical ability to lift approx 50 lbs
  • Ability to work extended shifts of 10 hours or more
  • Flexible with schedule and different shifts
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent customer service orientation
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Must work in outdoor environments
  • Ability to manage and lead team
  • Experience in high volume concessions or stadium events
  • Forklift license preferred
  • Must have stamina to work 50+ hours per week as needed

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 5+ years of leadership experience in concessions, sports and entertainment operations, food and beverage, or operations supervising
  • Experience in high-volume stadiums or special events preferred
  • Ability to travel domestically for extended periods
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and point of sale systems
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to drive rental cars and operate golf carts
  • Excellent listening and communication skills
  • Strong time management and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities
  • Stamina to work extended shifts and flexible schedules
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Forklift license preferred

Job Duties

  • Lead meetings with volunteer groups and maintain open communication with director of concessions and operations team
  • Manage volunteer groups and temporary staff at concession stands
  • Prepare organizational documents including concessions folders and paperwork
  • Set up smallwares and equipment ensuring readiness and operation
  • Clean equipment and stock beverage coolers
  • Understand and assist with payment system operations (Square point of sale)
  • Train new volunteer groups and team members
  • Ensure volunteer and temporary staff punctuality and report tardiness
  • Manage concessions at PGA tournaments and special events including POS installation, operational training, inventory, and setup
  • Supervise food and refreshment preparation and service maintaining health and safety compliance
  • Enforce bar policies and train bartenders
  • Hire, coach, and if necessary, implement corrective actions for concessions employees
  • Conduct pre-shift meetings and manage event staff
  • Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy environment following sanitation standards and legal requirements
  • Coordinate logistical operations and event facilitation
  • Assist with POS maintenance
  • Ensure client satisfaction and hospitality
  • Conduct post-event inventory, loading, and food donation management
  • Finalize POS transactions and secure units for return
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
