Job Requirements
- Ability to lead kitchen operation in Head Chef's absence
- strong leadership and communication skills
- relevant NVQ or equivalent qualifications
- basic food hygiene knowledge
- minimum 1-2 years professional kitchen experience

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Assume complete responsibility for kitchen operation in Head Chef's absence
- support Head Chef in efficient kitchen management
- ensure compliance with client contract and food safety legislation
- craft menu cycles with innovation and budget control
- maintain highest standard of food quality, presentation, and service
- manage food orders using approved suppliers
- verify quality of food deliveries and follow supplier procedures
- ensure adherence to Food Hygiene Regulations and HACCP procedures
- maintain food safety records and conduct stock-takes
- evaluate training needs of kitchen staff
- enforce cleaning, hygiene, and dress code compliance
- review kitchen hazard list weekly
- maintain communication with clients, customers, and staff
- perform reasonable tasks to support kitchen service and safety
