Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in food and beverage or concessions operations preferred
- ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods
- ability to lift and carry approximately 50 lbs
- flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- ability to learn and operate a pos system
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- must adhere to established food handling sanitation practices and safety protocols
- ability to work under pressure during events
- willingness to participate in rotational management duties
- valid work authorization
Job Qualifications
- ability to learn the venue's pos system
- knowledge of sales and math at level normally acquired through completion of high school
- analytical skills necessary to subtract and add product inventory
- interpersonal skills required to maintain positive customer relations with co-workers, supervisors, clients, and a variety of company personnel when preparing the complex for events
- must be outgoing and enthusiastic to interact with patrons and become part of the entertainment atmosphere
- must be able to communicate providing verbal feedback in a professional manner
- ability to give and receive information
- knowledge of the operation of concessions or food preparation equipment is preferred
- must be able to operate cash register, credit card processor and standard food preparation or concessions equipment, as well as forklift and pallet-jack operation
Job Duties
- demonstrates and embodies the pmi entertainment group culture and customer service values
- assists the food and beverage department with the organizing, set up and clean-up of services before, during and after events or as assigned by the food and beverage management team, to include the moving and re-arranging of stands and equipment
- leads concessions product progression process (receiving deliveries, unloading and sorting, processing product, and flowing product to the allocated location)
- reinforce asset protection strategies to eliminate shortage
- coaches direct reports in the moment and provides recognition
- participates in weekly workload planning meetings
- assists in interviewing and onboarding new team members, alongside hr department
