Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Five years of experience in food service or related field with at least two years in a supervisory role or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of food service operations, safety regulations, and equipment
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to lead, train, and evaluate staff
  • Ability to handle physical demands of the job
  • Must pass a background check and drug screen
  • Eligibility to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • Five years of experience in a related field with two of those years working as a supervisor or equivalency
  • Knowledge of related trade or department specific equipment, systems and procedures
  • Demonstrated organizational skills
  • Demonstrated human relations skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to perform essential functions of the job

Job Duties

  • Supervises employees or processes including prioritizing daily work activities, evaluating outcomes and recommending changes
  • Provides human resources activities by assisting in the selection of employees, overseeing training functions, evaluating performance and initiating disciplinary action
  • Prepares employee work schedules
  • approves time off, monitors and submits payroll
  • Organizes and conducts staff meetings
  • Maintains inventory of supplies and makes or recommends purchases
  • Serves as a resource to identify, research and resolve problems and complaints
  • Assists management with the development of the budget
  • Researches related policies and procedures and assists in implementing the findings
  • Generates and compiles reports
  • updates financial records
