Job Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in Culinary Management, Business Management, or related field
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in concessions or food and beverage management
  • Strong knowledge of POS and computer systems
  • Experience training employees and volunteers
  • Advanced inventory management skills
  • Ability to manage high-volume sales and product ordering
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to make quick decisions under pressure
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • Knowledge of food safety, alcohol service and sanitation regulations
  • Commitment to professional ethics and integrity
  • Preferred certification in food service sanitation
  • Preferred certification in alcohol service

Job Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree or greater in Culinary Management, Business Management, or related field
  • 3-5 years experience in concessions management or related food and beverage management roles
  • Proficient with computer applications including Microsoft Office, POS systems and timekeeping software
  • Experience in training employees and volunteers
  • Advanced knowledge of inventory procedures and controls
  • Skilled in ordering products for high-volume venues
  • Excellent communication skills for positive, professional interactions
  • Ability to make quick business and operational decisions under pressure
  • Strong team orientation and ability to work in fast-paced event-driven environments
  • Thorough knowledge of sanitation, food preparation, alcohol service policies and safety standards
  • Mathematical skills for cash transactions and inventory reconciliation
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, ethics and confidentiality
  • Preferred nationally recognized certifications in food service sanitation and alcohol service

Job Duties

  • Manage, develop and mentor part-time concessions employees including initiating discipline as required
  • Complete documentation of employee performance and attendance issues as per company policy
  • Ensure proper set-up of all concessions locations prior to event doors opening
  • Verify opening inventory, assign employee duties, ensure sanitation standards and operational readiness
  • Provide oversight and operational expertise for smooth, efficient and profitable event execution
  • Oversee inventory management, product ordering, and high-volume sales
  • Manage all venue concessions operations before, during and after events including staff scheduling, equipment inspection, POS monitoring, guest complaint resolution, training, food production, clean-up and post-event reporting
