Job Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in concessions management or food and beverage management
  • Degree or equivalent four or more years of related experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and POS systems
  • Experience training employees and volunteers
  • Knowledge of inventory procedures and controls
  • Experience ordering products for high-volume venues
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to make quick operational decisions during events
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, event-driven environment
  • Knowledge of sanitation, food handling, alcohol service, and safety policies
  • Basic math skills for cash reconciliation and inventory
  • Commitment to integrity and professionalism
  • Food service sanitation certification preferred
  • Alcohol service training certification preferred

Job Qualifications

  • 3-5 years experience in concessions management or related food and beverage management
  • Degree may be substituted with four or more years of relevant experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, POS and timekeeping systems
  • Experienced in training employees and volunteers
  • Advanced knowledge of inventory management and controls
  • Skilled in ordering products for high-volume venues
  • Strong communication skills fostering positive work environment
  • Ability to make timely and effective operational decisions under pressure
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Thorough knowledge of sanitation, food preparation, alcohol service and safety standards
  • Basic math skills related to cash and inventory management
  • Commitment to integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
  • Food service sanitation certification preferred
  • Alcohol service training certification preferred

Job Duties

  • Manage, develop and mentor concessions staff including discipline and performance documentation
  • Ensure proper set-up of concessions locations including inventory verification and sanitation compliance
  • Provide high-level oversight and operational expertise for event execution
  • Oversee inventory management, product ordering, and sales monitoring
  • Supervise venue concessions operations including scheduling, equipment inspection, POS troubleshooting, and guest complaint resolution
  • Train new and current employees on property procedures and best practices
  • Cover any open position as needed to maintain operational standards
  • Provide direction and oversight to supervisors and ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and alcohol service policies
  • Complete post-event evaluations, reporting and data tracking
  • Maintain a safe and harassment-free work environment with immediate action on safety concerns
  • Mentor event staff and volunteers to promote a positive workplace
  • Obtain working knowledge of all concession locations and related operational details
