Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1-2 years experience in a food and beverage service environment
- Must be 21 years or older
- Ability to stand and walk extensively
- Capability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to follow health and safety regulations
- Valid food handling or alcohol service certification if applicable
- Strong interpersonal and leadership qualities
- Excellent attendance record
- Ability to work flexible hours including event schedules
Job Qualifications
- At least 1-2 years experience in a food and beverage environment
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Ability to lead a team and monitor concession stand operations
- Strong communication skills with employees, volunteers, management, and guests
- Ability to speak, read, and write in English
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Valid food handling certificate or alcohol service permit if required
- Ability to perform basic math related to POS transactions and inventory
Job Duties
- Ensure proper set-up of all concession locations prior to doors including verifying inventory and sanitation standards
- Provide high level of oversight for smooth and profitable execution of events
- Train new and current employees on procedures and best practices
- Cover and back up any open position to maintain full operational status and service standards
- Ensure work environment safety and address potential hazards or incidents immediately
- Supervise beverage service including alcoholic beverages and verify guest identification
- Assist in recording and relaying guest orders using POS system
- Observe guests to respond to additional requests and monitor meal completion
- Recommend menu items and explain ingredients or preparation methods
- Maintain sanitation, health and safety standards
- Demonstrate excellent attendance
- Ensure location equipment is operable and clean before events
- Recognize visibly intoxicated guests and take action to cut off alcohol service
- Enforce company policies and procedures
- Manage employee relations including coaching, corrective actions, and HR paperwork
- Assist management with training, inventory, and special event projects
- Perform additional duties as assigned by managers and supervisors
