Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 1-2 years supervisory experience in food and beverage
- strong communication skills
- ability to work evenings and weekends
- ability to stand for extended periods
- ability to handle fast-paced, changing work environments
- reliable attendance and punctuality
- ability to follow established recipes and procedures
- ability to maintain sanitation and safety standards
Job Qualifications
- At least 1-2 years experience working in a supervisory capacity in a food and beverage environment
- ability to supervise the work of others
- ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff, and guests
- ability to speak, read, and write in English
- ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment
Job Duties
- Ensure proper set-up of all concessions locations prior to doors
- verify opening inventory
- assign duties to concession workers including employees and volunteers
- ensure sanitation standards are met
- verify that each location is fully operational
- ascertain levels of food production based on projected guest attendance
- assure proper handling and distribution of cash by Stand Leaders
- provide high-level oversight and operational expertise for smooth, efficient, and profitable event execution
- train new and current employees on property procedures and best practices
- cover or back-up any open positions to maintain full operations and meet company standards for speed of service and guest satisfaction
- assist with Premium Services operations and event needs as directed
- ensure a safe work environment free from harassment or discrimination
- immediately address safety concerns, hazards, accidents, or incidents and report to management
- ensure event staff and volunteers understand workplace expectations
- provide ongoing assistance, training, mentoring, and constructive feedback
- promote a positive, enthusiastic, and cooperative workplace environment
- obtain working knowledge of all concession locations including geography, equipment, and facility access
- assist with recording and relaying guest orders via P.O.S. system
- observe guests and respond to additional requests
- compute meal costs, present checks, accept payments, and provide change
- recommend menu items and explain ingredient preparation
- maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards
- demonstrate excellent attendance
- ensure location equipment is operable and clean pre-event
- enforce company policies and procedures
- apply strong HR skills for employee relations including corrective action, coaching, counseling, and documentation
- assist Management team with training, inventory, and special events
- perform all other duties assigned by managers and supervisors
